BARRY GREYHOUND STADIUM

The greyhound track in the South-Wales town of Barry was situated at the Jenner Stadium at 3° 15' W 51° 24' N and was one of the pioneers of the sport in Wales. It was an independent track with grid reference ST1268. The stadium was used by the local football club and a variety of other sporting activities, but the ground was purchased by the Welsh Greyhound Association and they held their first meeting at the stadium in 1932.
